The Moment when you're driving in a torrential down pour of a storm and your rear windshield wipers are in sync with your front ones... like you're caught in between...

The graduate

It's kind of surreal to me but I have graduated with my Master's Degree! Although it took four years, it was definitely worth it in the end. I can't tell you how nervous I was the whole day before the commencement ceremony...my stomach was doing flips and I was jittery and shaky before they called my name. I was fortunate enough to be surrounded by a lot of family people that love me and support me and cheered my name... quite loudly to be honest... WOOT WOOT {insert fist and leg pump simultaneously here} I don't know what I'm most excited about my new adventures and what I'm able to do now because of the degree or the kind of example I'm setting for my daughter or just merely rewriting my resume! This GVSU program was no joke- it was intense and because of that I'm a better, stronger, far more diverse person that places an even bigger value on commitment now than ever before.  Very exciting adventures to come, job applications to write and thought
